Children's data policy

In plain language for parents: what child data we use, why, and what we never do.

Why we need the child's data

The story is built around the child: the first name appears in the text and is spoken by the character, the age matches the tone and length, and the avatar choices (hair, skin tone, glasses) and preferences (colour, hobby, pet) personalize the illustrations and the adventure. Without this data the story would not be personalized.

What we never do

• We never create public profiles for children. • We never send marketing messages to children. • The child's photo never appears in the video, the book or on the site — it is only used to draw the resembling character. • We never sell or share children's data for advertising. • The family share link is private and can be deleted at any time.

The child's photo (optional)

If you choose to upload a photo, it is sent to our image AI provider solely to create a resembling cartoon character (face shape, hair, skin tone, glasses). The parent sees and approves the character before illustrations are generated. The photo is private, visible only to you and authorised staff, removable at any time, and automatically deleted 30 days after the story is completed. You can use the avatar only, without a photo.

Parental consent

Accounts and orders are for adults only (18+). Under Law no. 195/2024 the digital consent age is 14; for children under 14, consent is given by the parent or legal guardian. At each order you confirm, via a dedicated checkbox, that you are the parent/guardian and agree to the processing of the child's data for that story. We keep proof of consent together with the policy version and date.

How to delete everything

• The photo: from the order page, at any time. • A story: from “My stories”. • All data, including the account: from “My account” → delete account, or via the “Exercise your rights” form. When the account is deleted, children's data and stories are deleted; we keep only anonymized accounting records as required by law. Questions: the form on the Contact page.
